We spent a wonderful Fourth of July at Amy's Dad's house on the lake. This is one of the highlights of the summer for the boys who love to fish, swim, kayak, sail, and play with Dixon and Annika. As we were driving there, Tyler announced "We're almost there - I just saw my checkpoint." I asked him what he meant and he proceeded to tell me how he has "checkpoints" associated with many of our destinations including our friend's house on the Mississippi, the lake, Papa & Grandma's house, Duluth, and our campsite in South Dakota.
